Yay Kaelyn!

Okay, don't think we are crazy but our 5 monthy old goes pee pee on the potty! We are practicing something called elimination communication or Natural infant hygiene. It's really just about listening to your baby and responding to their needs. Just like when Kaelyn fusses because she is hungry we respond by feeding her, we now respond to her need to use the potty. This helps cut down on laundry (we use cloth diapers), diaper rashes and hopefully leads to a successful transition to being diaper free one day. She has been going pee pee on the potty for about a month and is very proud of herself when ever she goes (about 6 or 7 times a day). Well, on the 17th (her 5 month b-day) she decided to go poop on the potty for the first time! Yay Kaelyn!!!
